Preserving architectural integrity while delivering full VRF performance at ground level for spaces where ceiling penetration is restricted.
Not every project allows ceiling installation. Heritage buildings with ornate plasterwork, lobbies with dramatic exposed ceilings, retail environments with industrial aesthetics, and spaces where ceiling space is dedicated to lighting or acoustic treatments all require climate solutions that operate from floor level. The Midea V8 Floor Standing series provides three purpose-designed variants, each optimized for different architectural relationships.
The F3 Concealed variant disappears into wall recesses, connecting to short duct runs at up to 60 Pa ESP for discreet air delivery through linear grilles. The F4 Front-Return model draws air through the front face for straightforward wall placement. The F5 Bottom-Return variant intakes from below, maximizing placement flexibility away from walls. All three share the V8 platform's full-DC inverter architecture, half-degree thermal resolution, and intelligent filter-maintenance signaling.
Operating within the V8 heat pump VRF system, all Floor Standing variants provide both cooling and heating through reverse-cycle operation for true all-season climate control. Individual zone control ensures each ground-floor space maintains independent temperature setpoints. The DC inverter compressor's variable speed operation delivers energy savings up to 40%.
